Danda
Walking Stick No. 0014
This curved walking stick if just lying on the couch could be confused for a the most venomous snake in the world. The Inland Tipan from central eastern Australia. The local aboriginal people from that area call it dandarrabilla. So we calling this slither stick Danda for short. When it not sitting up pretending to be a Tipan it looks pretty mush like a shortened Shepards staff.
Did you know that one bite from an Inland Tipan has enough venom to kill approximately 100 adult human beings. It is also extremely fast, extremely accurate and often strikes and bites multiple times. It is deadly. If you have been around aboriginal people especially younger people they often use the term "deadly" for meaning like "really cool man" . Well as the titan is deadly in reality this eucalypt walking stick is deadly cool man.
It is still relatively raw its been shaped scraped and oiled. But I think I am going to leave this on as it is now it feel nice. Still got to put a stopper on the end.
