The stick chooses its handler. That much has always been clear to those of us who have had the pleasure of using walking sticks crafted by the Crooked Sticks master.
The connection between stick and user is similar to that of a wand and wizard. There is the initial attraction and then a binding of spirits. The stick becomes apart of you and you a part of the stick.

I have tried them all. They are all strong sturdy sticks that will last a long long time if looked after. Some are finished better than others . You can ask for more photos and more information.

I am his partner so I am biased. They are all over the house they are a nuisance. Peter is very creative he is also a painter. The walking sticks are a work of art . Really they should kept together and displayed as an art installation somewhere.
